1. Who can use Kickora
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kickora. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Kickora with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
You must give accurate information when you sign up, keep your profile up to date, and use only one personal account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
2. What Kickora does
Kickora helps players create and join football groups, organise matches, pick teams and line-ups, chat with their group, and rate each other after matches. Kickora is a coordination tool: we do not organise, supervise or insure any match, and we do not own or run any pitch or venue.
3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
Kickora has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, send or share anything — in chats, group names and descriptions, profile names or photos, match details or ratings — that is:
- harassing, bullying, threatening or intimidating towards anyone;
- hateful or discriminatory, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age;
- sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexual content involving minors in any form;
- violent, graphic, or encouraging self-harm or harm to others;
- spam, scams, advertising or attempts to collect other users’ personal or payment details;
- impersonating another person, or sharing someone else’s private information without permission;
- illegal, or encouraging illegal activity, including infringing someone else’s intellectual property.
4. Reporting, blocking and moderation
You can report a message, a user or a group from inside the app, and you can block any user so that you no longer see their messages.
We review reported content within 24 hours. We will remove content that breaks these Terms and may warn, suspend or permanently ban the user who posted it, and remove them from groups. Group admins can also remove or block members of their own groups. We may act on content and accounts even without a report, and we may share information with law enforcement where the law requires it or someone is at risk of harm.
5. Groups, matches and ratings
Group admins and match organisers are responsible for the groups and matches they run, including the details they publish and the members they accept, remove or block. Any arrangements between players — such as pitch fees or kit — are between those players; Kickora is not a party to them and does not process payments.
Ratings and attendance records must be honest and fair. Do not use ratings to harass, punish or retaliate against other players. We may remove ratings that break these Terms.
6. Playing safely
Football is a physical activity with a risk of injury. You take part in any match at your own risk and are responsible for your own fitness, health and insurance. Meeting people you met online carries risks: use common sense, meet in public venues and follow the venue’s rules.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add to Kickora, such as your photo and messages. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and share that content with the people you share it with, only so far as needed to run and improve Kickora. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where it has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where we must keep it by law.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile > Settings > Delete Account. What happens to your data is explained in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect other users.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Kickora is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it working and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that information other users provide is correct.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens at a match or between users. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. App Store and third parties
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for Kickora, its content, maintenance or support, or any claims relating to it. Where you downloaded Kickora from the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow the terms of the app store and of any third-party service you use with Kickora, such as Google or Apple sign-in.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is significant we will ask you to review and accept the new version in the app before you continue using Kickora.
